A lesbian from Iran named Fariba (Jasmin Tabatabai) is persecuted in her homeland and forced to flee to Germany, but hereis her request for political asylum is denied. A desperate woman goes to extreme measures. After stealing documents from her friend who committed suicide, she disguises herself as a man and soon finds herself in a special immigrant camp located in a small town. Fariba takes a job at a local factory, where she is constantly humiliated because she doesn't want to shower with other men. The only one from whom she finds sympathy is the local woman Anne (Anneke Kim Sarnau), tired of teenage boys, missing sincere and warm touches and looks, she falls in love with Fariba.
